Under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Please provide me with:
- A copy of all claims made and their respective ICBC file material on each claim since Jan. 1, 2010 in which the claim was denied. Also the locations of each event.
If there are problems releasing personal information of the claimed, please send some of the documents requested; do not without all the documents.
If possible please provide/send this information via PDF format, either email or on CD.

Ok, me and my father have been quite close for some time, and we like to talk about a range of topics. There was this one day we were talking about insurance, and he brought a very convincing point. He said “Insurance companies and WCB are just like the mafia”. He then went on to explain that like the mafia, they force you to pay for their protection [protection rackets] or you will be fined -or they rip down your store- and then when something actually happens to you, they try to deny your claim. It’s what we think is one of the most corrupt systems in the world. And even worse, the people who they “offer protection from” is the police. By doing this request i hoped to find out just how many denials the company makes a year and what causes. Also if i actually had the power, and some day i wish i will, i would like to sue one of the many mafia-like companies.
